MEET THE AUTHOR
JEFF WOOTEN
Jeff grew up in the small town of Gordo, Alabama. After high school, he attended Jacksonville State University where he served as a student assistant football coach and earned his B.S. in physical education, history, and science. After 10 years of teaching and coaching in Alabama public schools he earned a M.S. degree from Alabama A&M University and was hired as principal at a PreK through ninth grade school in Tharptown. He later became principal of Russellville High School.
